The CER Skill Cartridge not only recognizes chemical substances. It also assigns the respective chemical structure. Chemists exchange structure often in a file known as SD File. This script allows creating such an SD File directly from results of the CER. In order to use it call idexmlclient.bat -c CER -t -o sample.txt resultDirectory on your sample.txt file (containing chemical names, etc) and then translate the output with perl cer2sdf.pl resultDirectorysample.tmx sample.sdf and then inspect the resulting SD File with your favorite SD File browser (cf. bioclipse)
